Lisa is a Novice  in our community, having taken her vow on June 4. She is a lifelong Californian and has discerned monastic vocation after several decades in the marketing field.  She has four grown children.  Her Catholic childhood shaped her love of God, ritual and mysticism.  Lisa was drawn to CDL for the community’s commitment to justice, mercy & love for all.   She assists with the production of our weekly e-newsletter and THE JOURNEY monthly newsletter that mails to our friends in prisons. She will be ministering in the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Halls, and  hopes to soon begin her training in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).  In her leisure time, Lisa enjoys reading, writing, & exploring the tranquility & majestic beauty of the central California coast.
